Hi Richard,

Good morning. You don't have to use Kompozer to edit a website. This is simply a free html editor that anyone can download if they want to use it. But there are lots of html editors that can be used. Most of them cost some bucks though. That's why i recommend Kompozer.

As far as the templates available through 5.88webhosting.com, the templates are actually provided to you by the point and click website builder that I purchased a license to and provide to customers of 5.88webhosting.com. This point and click website builder is called RVsitebuilder. There are more than 600 templates provided in RVsitebuilder, but keep in mind that these templates are designed for all businesses, not just window cleaners.

So even though they have lots of templates to choose from, most of them won't apply to window cleaners. I mean you don't want to use a web template with a dog design for your window cleaning business. That's one of the reasons why I wanted to take the extra step and provide specific window cleaning templates to folks who have purchased my window cleaning program.

You've seen a preview of the 4 web templates specific to window cleaners that I'm releasing in a few days. And we have more templates on the drawing board. I do want to provide lots of choices for window cleaners to choose from. And with the options we're providing like the ability to change the template color schemes for example, it helps to distinguish one site from the rest.

Back to RVsitebuilder for a second. They do offer a few plain templates that are nicely designed. I say "plain" because the design for these templates are not industry specific, so they'll work for any business. If you want to see their templates, you can click here.

As a reminder, I purchased a license to rvsitebuilder specifically for customers of 5.88webhosting.com to use. I looked at a lot of site builders before purchasing RVsitebuilder, so it'll build you a site very easily in a step by step format. But what's even better is if someone has purchased my window washing program (so they have full access to the templates that I'm providing) and is a customer of 5.88webhosting.com, then they can very, very easily just import their preferred web template into RVsitebuilder and bada bing, bada boom. A nice looking website will be built in no time.

I'm almost completed with the directions on how to work with the web templates, so when that's done, the templates/directions will be available for purchasers of my window cleaning program to download. But within the instructions, I explain how to use the Kompozer html editor when working with the templates. So you bring up a great point. After these initial instructions are completed, I'll create some additional instructions that focuses on using RVsitebuilder instead of Kompozer. They'll probably be short instructions though because all someone has to do is import their web template into RVsitebuilder and follow the well laid out "point and click" steps to turn that template into a complete website.

Take care for now. Talk soon.

Regards,

Steve

Steve,
Do I have to use this "komposer" software in setting up a "5.88" web site? Is there a way to see the available templates at %.88?
